Congress
As a member of congress who disagreed with the president for going to war with Mexico.
Abrham Lincoln said
"The distinction between the cause of the President in beginning the war, and the cause of the country after it has begun, is a distinction which you cannot perceive ". He was saying this to the people who knew he disagreed with the War but was voting to support it.
If only members of our congress could think about our country and it's security instead of their own selfish politcal agenda.
And shame on the people who vote for and support these officials
